The Middletown Fire Company is sad to announce the passing of fire policeman James D. Harper. Harper was a 1 year member of the company and made an impact on everyone. He will be missed by all. Rest easy Jimmy.

December 14, 2008

After running a fire alarm and a building fire earlier in the day, 7 companies were dispatched to 68 Barren Road for the building fire. Tele-squrt 50 and Engine 54 went responding in seconds with confirmed smoke showing from the medic unit. Engine 54 arrived and pull and 300' 2.5 inch hose line and attempted to make an exterior attack of the well involved basement. The tele-squrt arrived shortly after under command of Lieutenant Decker and pulled a backup 300' 2" line to attack the fire on the first floor. Crews from both companies performed an aggressive interior attack so suppress the fire. 50-2 laid into tele-squrt50 and 50-3 took the hydrant to pressurize it. The fire was extinguished very fast and great job to all on scene with dealing with a difficult fire.

December 13, 2008

After running a shoe run early in the day, the big 3 township companies were dispatched to 352 and Baltimore Pike for an Accident with entrapment. 50-2 along with the medic unit arrived to discover 1 trapped. Crews from 50 assisted 54 with patient extrication. A rapid extrication was made and the patient was transported.

December 12, 2008

Minutes after midnight, company 50 was alerted to respond to east knowlton road for an accident with injuries unknown. 50-9 and 9B arrived to find a vehicle which had knocked a pole completely over. 50-2's crew under command of 50-13 secured the scene and treated the patient. At the very end of the day, township companies were requested to respond to Williamson Trade School for the Automatic fire alarm. 50-3 responded with 4 under command of the chief and arrived on scene 3rd later to be recalled.

December 11, 2008

The only call for the day today was an automatic alarm at Riddle Hospital. First in crews reported a tripped alarm and the assignment was recalled.

December 10, 2008

After running a med run earlier in the day, the rescue assignment was tapped out for an accident with entrapment. Tac 69 arrived just ahead of 50-2 and report negative entrapment. 50-2's crew assisted 69 with securing the roadway and cleaning up. Crews remained in service about a half hour before going available.

December 9, 2008

At about 7:30 AM Company 50 along with our favorite paramedics were dispatched to 352 and Knowlton Road for an accident with injuries. First arriving crews found a septa bus with numerous minor injuries all of which were determined to be not worthy of transport. Crews from 50 secured the scene and went available. Just about 2 PM 50 got hit out to cover station 16 (Yeadon). They were operating on the second alarm on the building fire. After standing by about an hour, 16-9A requested thje tele-squrt to respond to the scene. Tele-Squrt 50 under command of 50-9A "BIG AL," responded and went in service doing minor firefighting efforts and overhaul. After crews wrapped up, they headed back to Yeadon to cover about another hour. Covers did not recieve any calls during the cover. Later that night Company 50 was dispatched to Creek Road for an MVA. 50-9 arrived in his vehicle to find one car into a pole with electrical hazards. The patient was transported and crews secured the scene to go available shortly after.

Today crews made the run to the other end for a fire alarm. 50-3 responded under command of FF/EMT Pat Walls. Companies were recalled enroute

December 7, 2008

At around 10 AM company 50 was dispatched to 352 and Glen Riddle for the Automobile fire. 50-9B arrived to find an overheated vehicle. 50 secured the hazards and quickly went available.

December 6, 2008

Early Saturday morning, when Company 50 was just about to start tree sales, the tones dropped for a building fire at the Granite Run Mall. 104-7D arrived to find smoke showing. Crews from all 3 companies made entry and found a fire in the elevator shaft. Crews extinguished the fire and spent well over an hour ventilating. Late that night tones dropped once again for a building fire in the area of 352 and Knowlton Roads. 50-9A and B arrived simintaniously to find a controlled burn. It was found the owners had a permit and units went available.

December 5, 2008

At about 3 AM Township companies along with edgemont and RIT53 were hit out to Brooke Lane for the building fire. Crews found an odor of smoke in the building and were unable to find the source. Companies stood by about an hour before being returned.

December 4, 2008

Today company 50 was alerted to along with 52 and mutual aid to respond to Hilltop Condo's for the building fire. The tele-squrt was recalled enroute by 52-9 as no fire department services were needed.

December 3, 2008

Today township companies responded to a fire alarm at Mirmont Rehab. Truck 69 arrived first and found a faulty alarm. Shortly after 69 command recalled the assignment and crews returned.

December 2, 2008

Just as members were starting the work day, company 50 and Riddle Paramedics were dispatched to South Old Middletown Road and Park Avenue for the accident. 50-2 under command of Lieutenant Decker arrived to find one vehicle into a pole with a wires hazard. Crews along with 50-9B secured the scene and returned.Later that night during drill, crews were hit out to the Acme for an AFA. Township companies arrived to find a broken pipe thus causing a sprinkler alarm to go off. Companies secured the scene and returned. For drill tonight, members assembled the tree fort. We thank all members who came out to participate.

December 1, 2008

The crews from Middletown started the month of fire calls out early with an accident with reported entrapment on the bypass northbound behind the pontiac dealer. Tactical 69 arrived to find 1 vehicle with negative entrapment. 50's crews assisted the 69th with cleanup and returned to station. Later in the morning 50 was sent to yet another med run. 50-8 responded to the Christian Academy and assisted the medics with patient care and packaging.

Crews were once again dispatched for the automatic alarm in Riddlewood. A faulty detector was found and companies were returned in route.

In the morning crews were dispatched to the Granite Run Mall for the AFA. Crews found a faulty detector and the assignment was returned.

After dinner, Middletown Fire Company along with the other township companies were alaerted to respond to a gas leak. Crews from all 3 companies investigated Virtual Rush and found the source.

November 27, 2008

Crews stayed quiet on Thanksgiving responding to only a medical assist in Knowltonwood. Crews assisted the Medics and went home and ate turkey. On behalf of the officers and members of Middletown Fire Company, we would like to wish everybody a happy and safe Thanksgiving.

November 26, 2008

Today station 50 was alerted to respond to Sunrise assisted living for the AFA. Crews assisted 69 in the search, found nothing, and were made available. Later on Thanksgiving eve, station was alerted to respond to a cover at station 68. The telesqurt under command of Lieutenant Decker made the response with 6 and covered for about 3 hours with company 12 and company 65. During the cover, station 50 was notified to respond to Brookhaven's local to assist on the building fire. 50-2 under command of 50-12 responded with 6. 52-9 arrived to find smoke showing, but quickly determined it to be an extinguished fire. 50's crews assisted 52 and went available shortly after. Immediatly after returning from the cover, station 50 was requested along with station 52 to respond to the accident with reported entrapment. 50-2 under command of Lieutenant Decker responded and assisted 52's crews with extrication and clean up. Crews remained on scene for about 30 minutes.

November 25, 2008

Early in the morning crews were notified to assist company 52 on an automatic alarm at Our Lady of Charity School. The tele-squrt responded and arrived on scene to be recalled shortly thereafter. Late in the afternoon company 50 was dispatched to Hilltop for the building fire. Interior crews reported smoke in the building, but it proved to be just faulty wiring. 50 stood by for about an hour while assisting 52 and went available and returned after. Right after returning from the call, crews ate dinner and did crew night to make sure all trucks are in working condition.

Late in the afternoon, company 50 was alerted to respond to Park Avenue for a medical assist. Crews assisted the medics with patient care and packaging.

November 22, 2008

As crews were finishing up Pump 2, the township companies along with RIT 45, company 52, and Truck 61 (in place of truck 69) were dispatched to Iris Lane for a reported dwelling fire. The tele-squrt under command of 50-13 (Decker) responded within seconds with a crew of 6. 50-9 arrived on location reporting an stove fire which had been extinguished. He held with the tele-squrt and 50-2 for ventilation and minor overhaul.

November 21, 2008

Around lunch Station 50 was requested to respond to Station 40 ( Boothwyn) while they were on a reported bomb threat. The tele-squrt under command of captain 50 covered for just about 2 hours recieving zero calls. Later that day we were disbatched to Glen Riddle Road for a shoe run. Crews helped the medics remove the patient and load them up in the ambulance.

At about 7 AM crews were tapped out to respond to Williamson Trade School for the automatic fire alarm. 50-3 under command of 50-9 responded seconds after dispatch and arrived first to find a malfunctioning alarm. The crew from 50-3 reported a tripped alarm to 69 command and the assignment was recalled. Later on in the day, 50 was hit out to highmeadows for an ambulance assist. Crews from station 50 helped package the patient and returned to station. Late in the night, the fire department was notified to assist the ambulance on Wynmoor Circle. Crews responded and assisted the medics.

November 18, 2008

40 Minutes after midnight, township companies along with company 64 responded to Wawa Dairy on Baltimore Pike for the Automatic fire alarm. 50-3 under command of 50-12 responded shortly after disbatch. Crews arrived on scene and found a malfunctioning alarm and were made available. Later in the day crews listened to experienced firefighter Scott Reitze about strategy and tactics of cold weather firefighting. Shortly after firemen started returning home from drill, company 50 was disbatched to Media's local for a building fire. 23-9 arrived quickly and recalled the assingment.

November 15, 2008

Early this morning crews were hit out to Knowltonwood for a medical assist. Tired crews assisted the medics and returned to station. Later that day at about lunch time, Township companies were hit out to South old Middletown Road in company 50's local for the Automatic alarm. The Tele-squrt under command Captain Nasino responded with a crew of 6 to find a tripped alarm system due to steam from the shower. Crews notified 50-9B of the situation, and he recalled the assignment. Shortly after returning from the first due fire alarm, Company 50 and Riddle Paramedics were disbatched to Knowlton Road and 352 for the MVC injuries unknown. 50-13 and 50-13A arrived on scene first reporting 2 vehicles with negative entrapment and 2 injuries. 2 were transported and crews secured the scene and returned to station. To finish off the day, township comanies were hit out to the Riddle Ale House for the automatic fire alarm. 50-3 under command of 50-9 responded with 6 second after disbatch. Shortly after arrival, the assignment was recalled and crews returned.

November 14, 2008

At about breakfast time crews were disbatched to Williamson Trade School for the automatic fire alarm. 50-3 under command of F/F Lou Marcozzi responded, found a faulty alarm, and recalled. Later that night at about 10:30 PM, the township companies were disbatched to New Darlington Road for the Automatic Alarm. 50-3 under command of F/F Glenn Coront and arrived at the same time as Truck 69. Crews investigated and found burnt food. The assignment was recalled and crews returned to station for the night.

November 12, 2008

At about 5:30 AM company 52 along with mutual aid was disbatched on Edgemont Avenue for an automatic fire alarm. Shortly after arrival, interior crews reported smoke in the interior bringing company 50. The tele-squrt responded shortly after but got recalled halfway to the scene due to the fire being out. At about 6 Am crews responded to Hilltop for the building. The tele-squrt responded and got recalled shortly after. At about 7 Am crews responded to Hilltop at the same address as earlier for the building fire. The 52-9 held crews in station while they investigated. Later that afternoon, company 50 was disbatched for a med run at the Delaware County Alternative School. Crews assisted the medics and quickly headed home.

November 11, 2008

At just about lunch time, crews responded to Mystic Lane in the first due for the automatic fire alarm. Tele-Squrt 50 under command of Lieutenant Decker responded and met 50-9A at the scene to find a malfunctioning alarm. Crews secured the alarm and returned to quarters. Later that night company 50 along with companies 69 and 52 did a walk through of the Christian Academy School in 50's local. Crews identified all potential hazards and attack strategies in case of emergency

Today crews responded to a commercial fire alarm on Baltimore Pike in 69's local. 50-3 with a staffing of 6 under command of Lieutenant Decker arrived first to find an unoccupied building with an alarm tripped due to a power failure. Crews secured the alarm and returned to station

Today crews responded to Barren Road for the automatic fire alarm. A second call came in from fireboard seconds later reporting a tripped alarm due to cooking. Crews recalled and returned to station.

Two Calls for the day. The first call came in at 10:35 for a medical assist. Next we responded to Edgemont Ave. for a building fire. Crews assisted Company 52 (Brookhaven) with the call.

Five calls for the day. The first wqas an accident on Glen Riddle Rd/ Crews recalled by Company 54 (Lenni). Next, we responded to S. Old Middletonw Rd for a Medic assist. Moving on we responded to Lima's local for a building fire. It turned out to be a Heater backfire. Another EMS call came in at 12:28:16 on S. Old Middletown Rd. Finally, we closed out the day with a responce for a medical alarm on S. Old Middletown Rd.

Crews released by 54-9A at 11:03:48. Crews from all three township companies then responded to a vehicle fire on E. Baltimore Pike. Crews released by 69 Command at 11:13:35.

Crews reponded to Kildaire Lane, Aston for a building fire at 17:50:47. The crews recalled by 72(Aston-Beechwood) Command. Next the township companies responded to US HWY 1 for an accident with entrapment. Crews from 50-2 used the Junk yard Dogs to stabilize the vehicle. . Company 69 (Lima) had the handline/stabilization and Comapny 54 (Lenni) and 50 worked on removing the roof. All of the companies worked together like a well oiled machineCrews releassed from the accident by 69-9A (Vanaman) at 19:12:15.

Knowlton RD for a medic assist. the next call was another medic assist on Pine Brook Drive. Crews released at 18:00:23. The last call was on Wooded Ave for another Medic assist. For the Drill Company 50 went to the Pipeline saftey class held by the Pipeline group at Company 40 (Boothwyn).

The crews staged at the middle shool. We did catch one call while in Aston. The crews responded to E. Dutton Mill Road for reports of a building fire. 63-9 and 63-9B released the assignment at 21:05:44.

Today the crews responded to reports of an accident on S Old Middletown RD. Crews from 50 and 54 (Lenni) responded. The call was unfounded and crews recalled. Tonight is also our general meeting night.

June 30, 2008

This morning at 04:29:43 CreWs from 50, 54 (Lenni), 69 (Lima), 52 (Brookhaven), 23 (Media), and RIT45 (Parkside) responded to Fox RD for a building. 50-9 reported heavy smoke in the basement. TS50 took the front of the house and went in to service. 50-2 backed up the squirt with tank water while Brookhaven stood by the hydrant. Crews released at 8:05:27. Next, we responded to Mount Alverno for wires at 07:50:49. We rounded out the day with a trip to S Old Middletown RD to assist M1047.

Crews from 50 and 54 (Lenni) responded to S New Middletown RD for an accident with injuries. Upon arriaval 50-9 (R. Tull) recalled 54 and held the responce to 50-2 and M1047.

At 14:50:00 we recieved a cover assignment for Company 68 (Marcus Hook). Crew staged on Penn ST, crew relaesed at 14:36:40. Next, the township companies rolled again to Williamson for an AFA. Crews recalled after the investigation. We rounded out our night with a Medial Assist to Media Station RD. Crew from 50 assisted M1047(Riddle). Crews back in station at 20:00:49

Today at 09:03:01 the township companies responded to N Middletown RD for an AFA. Crews recalled by 69 Command. In the afternoon we responded to Company 40 (Boothwyn) for a cover assignement . Crews from 40 and 39 (Lower Chichester) had responded to Aston for a building fire.

Two calls today. The first call came in at 12:32:06. The township crews reponeded to Glen Riddle RD for an AFA. The crew recalled after the investigation. The second call came in at 17:36:14 to assist company 72 (Aston-Beechwood) and 63 (Green Ridge) for a brush fire in the area of W. Knowlton RD. Crews recalled by 63 Command, no evidence of a fire existed.

Drill night. Crews had dinner from the Wayside Market and then began Crew night. THe last tuesday of each month the members go through all of the trucks and equipment and make sure all of the equipment is in working order. Once the inspections are done the rest of the night is spent on driver training.

While it has been a Slow couple of days we do have some good news to report. FF Walls and FF Antonelli are now nationally certified for Fire 1. Also, FF Stars and FF Wooding are completing the Fourth Module of the Delmar program. 50-9A( Mancill) and 50-9B (Beresford) spent Sunday with the crews from 69 (Lima) to review and learn about Truck 69 from the American LaFrance Trainer.

At 13:58:38 the township companies responded to an AFA at the Easter Seals building, Crews recalled by 69 (Lima) command. At 15:07:08 crews responded to Howarth Rd for another AFA, crews recalled by 54 (Lenni) command. Drill night, crews worked on water supply. We completed the day with another Medic assist on W. Knowlton RD. The call turned out to be in Aston township.

The Day is young but we had an early start to the day. At 00:48:51 Crews from 69(Lima), 54 (Lenni), 64 (Edgmont), RIT45 (Parkside) and 50 reponded to Valley Road for a building fire. Upon arrival crews from 69 located a faulty light balast. our second call came in @ 15:16:13 to assist the medics at Patricia Place PL. We completed the day at Highmeadow Park with A call for Brush.

Busy day at the 50 house. At 01:18:19 the crews reponded to Meadowcroft lane to assist M1047. At 04:57:36 Crews reponded to CO72's (Aston-Beechwoods) local for a building fire at PJ's Bar and Grill. Crews returned enroute. On the way home crews recieved a call for a AFA on East Saint Andrews drive. Crews From 64 (Edgemont), 59 (Concordville), 69 (Lima), 54 (Lenni), and 66 (Bethel) recalled after the investigation. At 06:35:40 Crews from 50, 69 (Lima) and 54 (Lenni) revisited East Saint Andrews again for another alarm. Crews releaased by 54 Command. Next, crews from 69 (Lima), 54 (Lenni) and 50 responded to the Tyler Arboretum for and AFA at 16:10:52. Crews released after the investigation by 69 command. The crews got a little break before responding to Linnvile Orchards to assist the medics (M1047). We wrapped up the day with a Carbon Monoxide detector activation on East Knowlton Road. Crews from TS-50 swept the house while M1047(Riddle) stood by. 50-9B (Beresford) released the Crews after the investigation.

At 17:30:39 crews responded to the Franklin Mint for an AFA. Crews released after the investigation.

Crews from 50, M1047 and 54 (Lenni) responded to the intersection of s. Pennel rd and Riddlewood drive for an accident. Crews recalled by 54 command.

June 2, 2008

At approximately 17:30 50, 69 (Lima), 54 (Lenni), 52 (Brookhaven), 104-7D(Riddle) were dispatched in the area of 217 Harrison Rd for a house fire. As 50-9 (Tull) marked up repsonding Fireboard advised him of numerous callers. 50-9b (Beresford) was first to arrive and reported light smoke showing from a two story dwelling. 52-1 and TS-50 arrived on scene within seconds of eachother and crews pulled a 2 1/2 attack line off 52-1 and went in service. 50-9 Established command and called for RIT 45 (Parkside) and 68 (Marcus Hook Trainer) for the cover. Crews advanced the line to the second floor and knocked the fire down. Crews rescued a hamster and located a 5 foot snake. The fire is under investigation by 50-9a/Middletown Car 1a Al Mancill. At 12:44:49 crews from 50 and M1047 (Riddle) responded to Meadowwood Lane for an unconcious person.

April 14, 2008

Today crews were dispatched around noon to 416 S Old Middletown Rd. for the reported house fire. 50-9a and TS-50 arrived to find the house charged with smoke. The source was found to be a toaster. Crews checked for extension with a thermal camera and ventilated the structure. All the occupants had evacuated prior to fire company arrival.

February 1, 2008

Today started off with icy roads resulting in multiple accidents across the area. Just after 7 this morning we were dispacthed along with 54 (Lenni) and 104-7 (Riddle) for an accident on Pennel and Parkmount. While enroute 50-2 encountered another accident with a vehicle into a pole. Rescue 54 went on location reporting entrapment for the orignal call so 50-8 stood by the second accident while 50-2 proceded to the original. 50-2 assisted with stabilization and the patient was quickly extricated. At aprrox. 10:15 Co. 50 was dispatched to 121 Virginia Ln in Brookhaven for a building fire. 52-9 arrived on location and reduced the speed. While on location company 50 recieved a second emergency for wires at Indian Lane Elementary. 50-3 was released from the call and responded. While standing by the wires call we recieved another call for a fire alarm at the Roosevelt School. Crews secured the alarm and returned to quarters. The final call for the day was an AFA at 508 Cool Valley Lane. Crews stood by the hydrant and were returned after investigation of the alarm.

January 31, 2008

This evening crews were dispatched to 314 N Middletown Rd for the building fire. Crew deteremined it was a burnt motor. Units on scene ventilated and returned shortly after. Later crews were dispatched to Woodland Ave to assist the ambulance.

This morning crews were dispatched to N Ridley Creek Rd for wires. 50-3 investigated and returned.

January 29, 2008

Three calls for today. Our first call was an AFA at 247 N Middletown Rd. The assignment was recalled. Our second call was to assist the ambulance at 704 S Old Middletown Rd. The third call was for an accident with injurys on Duttons Mill Rd. The assignment was recalled. Tonight was the monthly crew night.

January 27, 2008

At one minute after 2 this morning crews were dispatched to 305 Bowers Ln. for the building fire. While enroute to the scene units were advised by fireboard that there were numerous calls. Medic 104-7 (Riddle) went on location confirming a fire in the house. 54-1 was the first engine on scene and pulled an 1 3/4 handline and went in service. 69-2 layed line to the hydrant while TS-50 pulled in the drive behind 54-1. Crews from TS-50 assisted in ventilation, search, and salvage and overhaul. Crews were made available just after 3:30 a.m. Units on scene from Station 50: TS-50, 50-2, 50-3, 50-8. Other companies 69 (Lima), 54 (Lenni), 64 (Edgemont), and RIT45 (Parkside).

January 26, 2008

Just after midnight Company 50 was dispatched to 238 Harrison to assist the ambulance. Just before 7:30 this evening Co. 50 was dispatched to assist company 52 (Brookhaven) on a building fire. 52-9B went on location and reported a working fire and requested TS-50 on arrival to throw ground ladders. TS-50 arrived on scene and threw ground ladders and checked the back of the building for extension while other crew members from engine 50-3 assisted with salvage and overhaul. Chandler Drive command placed the fire under control and units were made available at 21:08. Other companies on scene: 57 (Upland), 47(Chester Township), 45-7 (Parkside), 83-7 (CCMC), RIT 23 (Media), and RIT 72 (Aston beechwood).

January 25, 2008

Today we were dispatched to 636 Georgetown Rd for an AFA. Crews were returned enroute.

January 24, 2008

Early this morning company 50 was dispatched to cover Marcus Hook Trainer Fire Dept Station 68 while the operated on a 2 Alarm fire. Tonight crews were dispatched to 204 Elm Ave. for a smoke detector activation. It was found to be a CO detector had activated. Crews from 50 did a sweep with the gas meter and found nothing and companies were made available by 54 (Lenni) command.

January 23, 2008

This evening crews were dispatched to 352 and High Meadow Dr. for an accident. Crews from 50 along with 52 (Brookhaven) removed the hazard.

January 22, 2008

Three calls for today. The first call was for an AFA at 1408 W Baltimore Pk. Crews investigated and returned. The second call of the day was to assist the ambulance at 10 Pinetree Dr. Not long after Co. 50 was dispatched to assist the ambulance at 211 Harrison. Tonight was also the company drill night. 17 members went to station 52 (Brookhaven) for Hazmat Ops class while the remaining members drilled on mayday procedures.

January 19, 2008

This morning crews were dispatched to assist the ambulance at 145 Fox Rd. Later sround noon time companies were dispatched to 1165 W Baltimore Pk for a natural gas leak inside. Crews investigasted and returned.

January 18, 2008

Co. 50 responded to three calls today. The first call was to assist the ambulance at 28 Meadowbrook. The second call was an accident at Pennel Rd and Parkmount Rd. The assignment was recalled. Later this evening crews were disptached to the Residence at Glen Riddle Senior Quarters for a fire alarm. The assigment was uipgraded to a building fire with a smoke condition inside. Crews from 50 assisted with ventilation and returned.

This evening crews were dispatched to an accident out in front of the station. 50-9 (Tull) recalled the assignment.

Two calls for today. The first call was to assist the ambulance at 704 S. Old Middletown Rd. Our second call of the day was a fire alarm at Penncrest High School. The assigment was recalled.

January 15, 2008

We were dispatched to two calls today. Early this morning we were dispatched to 318 Meadowglen Lane for a building fire. 50-9B (Beresford) went on location with nothing evident. TS-50 found upon further investigation that there was extension around the interior . Crews from 50 remained on scene to investigate and returned around 00:30. The second call of the day was to assist the ambulance at 155 Bortondale Rd.

January 14, 2008

Two calls for today. The first call came in around noon time as a building fire at 106 S Pennell Rd. Crew investigated and returned a short time later. We were alerted to our second call for a rescue in the parking lot of the Granite Run Mall. The assignment was recalled.

January 12, 2008

This evening crews were dispatched to 519 Williamson Circle for a building fire. 104-7D (Riddle) arrived to report the fire in the oven was extinguished and that there was a smoke condition in the building. TS-50 stood by the hydrant and crews on scene ventilated the building and shortly after were made available.

This morning we were dispatched to assist the paramedics at 424 Olde House Ln. At appoximatly 11 this morning we were dispatched to assist the ambulance at 3 General Washington. Our third and final call for the day was a call to assist the ambulance at 213 Indian Lane.

January 4, 2008

At approximately 4:45 this evening we were dispatched to 576 Painter Rd to assist 69 (Lima) with a gas leak. Crews stood by as a precaution and were available within the hour.

January 2, 2008

Today Company 50 was dispatched to 122 Bortondale Rd. for wires. Crews stood by and assisted with traffic control.

January 1, 2008

Today we were dispatched a long with 69 (Lima) to Elwyn Institue for a vehicle fire. 50-2 arrived to find smoke showing from the trunk compartment of the vehicle. A bumper line was placed in service and companies went available shortly after.
